The largest-ever Skaneateles Festival Orchestra takes on a colorful program of music from North and South America, including Argentine composer Alberto Ginastera’s virtuosic Harp Concerto, featuring Bridget Kibbey (“Yo-Yo Ma of the harp“, Vogue); Villa Lobos’s folk-inspired Bachianas brasileiras No. 4; Gabriela Lena Frank’s celebration of Inca warriors, Escaramuza; Aaron Copland’s An Outdoor Overture; and Gershwin’s beloved American classic, Rhapsody in Blue, with pianist and Co-Artistic Director Aaron Wunsch.
