FamilyFest!

FamilyFest!

The FamilyFest! series (formerly KidsFest) has grown to become part of the Festival's regular scheduled season. Join us for some fun and have an entertaining - and educating - morning at the First Presbyterian Church.

2010 Family Fest

Wednesday, August 11
11:00 am

Family Fest with Trio Solisti

Wednesday, September 1
11:00 am

Join Artistic Directors David Ying and Elinor Freer for a musical parade of feathered and furry creatures. We’ll hear musical portraits of animals by composers like Saint-Saens, Rimsky-Korsakov, Fauré, Rameau, and others. After the music you’ll get to take part in our own instrument petting zoo, where you can see, touch, hear, and play a wide variety of musical instruments. Fun for the whole family!

The Adventures of Peter & the Wolf - 2006

This delightful concert featured the Zephyros Winds and was narrated by soprano Joanna Manring.

FamilyFest!

That's All, Folks! - 2006

Festival performers, including violinist Michi Wiancko, cellist Clive Greensmith, and pianist Jon Klibonoff showed kids of all ages what rollicking folk music from around the globe really sounds like!
