Julia Bruskin, cello

Since her concerto debut with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at age 17, Julia Bruskin has established herself as one of the premiere cellists of her generation. She has soloed with conductor Jahja Ling at Avery Fisher Hall as well as with the Nashville, Utah, Virginia, and Pacific Symphonies, among others. She is a frequent guest at summer music festivals, now especially as co-director of the Skaneateles Festival with her husband, Aaron Wunsch. She is also a member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York City. A founding member of the critically acclaimed Claremont Trio, Bruskin has recorded and toured extensively with the group. Their recording for Bridge Records of the Beethoven "Triple" Concerto with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra has received rave reviews. Bruskin teaches at the Juilliard Pre-College.
