Eliot Fisk: A Family Affair

Guitar virtuoso and Festival favorite Eliot Fisk anchors a program of solo and ensemble music for guitar, joined by his family of professional musicians: his wife, accomplished guitarist Zaira Meneses, and his daughter, emerging pianist Raquel Fisk. Don’t miss the Syracuse native’s mesmerizing “balance of focused introspection and incendiary virtuosity” (New York Times).

Program:

Vivaldi arr. Fisk: Concerto for Two Mandolins in G Major, RV 532
Rodrigo: Tonadilla for Two Guitars
Tárrega: Recuerdos de la Alhambra
Rodrigo: Fandango
Falla: Homenage pour le tombeau de Claude Debussy
Tárrega: Estudio Brillante de Alard
Chopin: Fantasie in F Minor, Op. 49
Bach arr. Fisk: Cello Suite in E-flat Major, BWV 1010
Albéniz: Torre Bermeja
Halffter: Habanera
Albéniz: Sevilla
